Survivors, mark your calendars! As of today, September 22, we are just over a week away from what is arguably the most significant technical update in the history of ARK: Survival Ascended. Studio Wildcard has officially confirmed that on September 30, the game will migrate to Unreal Engine 5.8.

The "tickle chicken" is getting a serious glow-up with improved movement, a new bounding hop, smoother harvesting capabilities, and a fresh claw-swipe animation. Whether you are a master breeder on our NexusARK cluster or a casual explorer on PrimeARK, these changes are going to make one of the game's most useful dinos even better.
