Studio Wildcard is moving the game to this new engine foundation, promising tangible performance improvements and critical platform-specific fixes.
For us in the Nova Gaming Network community, this is massive. A more stable engine means smoother raids, less lag during those massive base-render moments, and a more robust foundation for the mods that make our cluster unique. Our admin teams are already on high alert, preparing to ensure that the transition on our servers is as seamless as possible—so keep an eye on our Discord for specific migration notes as we get closer to the drop date!
Therizinosaurus TLC & New Creature Arrivals
It’s not just about what’s under the hood; we’re getting some serious gameplay spice as well. The update on the 30th brings us the highly anticipated Therizinosaurus TLC! If you thought the "Tickle Chicken" was already a force to be reckoned with, just wait. The rework includes:
- Enhanced Movement: Expect a more fluid feel when traversing the map.
- The Bounding Hop: A brand-new traversal ability that changes how you navigate obstacles.
- Combat Upgrades: A smoother claw swipe animation and improved harvesting mechanics.
But wait, there’s more! We are also set to receive two new creatures to tame: the Cerberax and the Gargantar. The Cerberax, part of Fantastic Tames Season 1, is specifically designed for coordinated multi-rider combat, with each head delivering a unique elemental attack. We can’t wait to see your tribes putting these to the test on RelentlessARK!

- Prepare for the Engine Patch: Engine upgrades are notorious for shifting mod compatibility. If you’re a mod-heavy player, now is the time to back up your local configs and touch base with our admins to ensure your favorite quality-of-life mods are ready for the switch.
